Program Information & Fact Sheet Munich

Fall 2020 marked the first semester opportunity for UGA students studying through the UGA-LMU International Student Exchange. Students enroll in LMU through a simplified admission procedure as non-degree seeking students; there is no German language test requirement, and English-speaking students may choose from a range of undergraduate and graduate courses taught in English.  To view a sample of these courses, visit the LMU online course catalogue, following instructions in English.  LMU’s academic calendar is different from UGA’s:  the First or “Winter” Semester runs October through February each year; the Second or “Summer” Semester runs April through July each year.

The UGA-LMU International Student Exchange program is a UGA-wide program established to offer studies in a variety of disciplines to UGA students from a wide range of majors.  For general exchange program advisement, both undergraduate and graduate students will meet with faculty who are familiar with this program.  These designated UGA faculty members can also help determine how your transfer credits are assigned according to your UGA major.
