Take the next step in German and pursue an MA in our department! In the German MA program, we offer students the option of a 2-year German MA, or a dual degree (3-4 years) that connects an MA degree in German and an MAT degree in World Language Education. Study with our faculty of renowned specialists in Literature and Culture Studies, Media Studies, and Germanic Linguistics! Our program equips students with critical skills in leadership, communication, and cross-cultural settings to pursue rewarding professional careers in a global context. We offer a broad range of in-depth coursework in German studies and Germanic linguistics, along with manifold opportunities to pursue research and professionalization. Gain invaluable experience in teaching through a mentored path from teaching apprenticeship (paired with study of foreign language pedagogy) to supervised teaching of your own language class.
